COLORS OF THE DAY
From distant paths carved by purpose and prayer, God, in His perfect time, wove our lives together. What began as a simple “cavalry greeting” soon became a sacred connection thoroughly rooted in friendship, watered with laughter, and anchored in faith. Ours is not just a love story, rather it is a living testimony of divine orchestration, of promises kept, and prayers answered in quiet, beautiful ways.

Shebi you remember that part of the Bible that said Adam was on his own sleeping in his house at Lekki jejely, but one woman hid behind Ụdara tree and was looking at him until he finally woke up to read the memo?
Well, that’s not my part of the story to tell.
My girl and I had been friends on Facebook especially cos we were both attending same student fellowship (CASOR) but in different universities. This was 2016/17. We were just acquaintances with few chats here and there, but would later on lose contact as her Facebook account was hacked.
Fast forward to June 2021, (unlike me), I was going through Whatsapp status and came across a group picture of my friend with some ladies, and the caption read something like; “Choose one and I will tell you the bride price.”
I decided to go for the prettiest person in the picture, and so (unlike me) I replied the status; “The lady in red.”
Ladies and gentlemen, (unlike me) I got her contact, and (unlike me), I slid into her DM in a way that pleases the Lord.
And so I started; “Calvary greetings, ma’am.”
The rest has been pleasant history.
And on the 28th of June this year, which is exactly 4 years since we reconnected, we will be connecting to a blissful ever after!

Pheeeew!
On this fateful Sunday in 2016, I had gone for a Sub-zonal Handover Service with my school fellowship members (CASOR IMSU). As we entered the hall, I noticed this very handsome young man on stage. Apparently, the students were cheering and it was getting noisy, so he stepped up to calm the situation—and in doing so, he spoke one English like this and added the word “Tantamount.” That was my first time hearing that word!
But what truly caught my attention wasn’t just the vocabulary—it was his authority, carriage, composure, and oratory power. I was dazed. And then I had to quickly shake it off because, “Why would I be admiring a man in the presence of God?” 2 days later, Facebook brought this brother under “people you may know”…. Haaa! Miracle no dey tire Jesus!
Fast forward to June 28th, 2021—someone entered my DM with one of the most unusual greetings ever: “Calvary greetings.” Guess who? Yep… that same brother I saw on that stage! And the rest, as they say, is history.
With Ositadimma, I’ve learned love in its purest form. I’ve grown in self-awareness. I’ve learned to communicate better. I’ve learned—and I’m still learning—so many beautiful things.
Thank you, Babe, for coming into my life when you did. Thank you for the beauty you bring to my world. Thank you for everything.
I’ll do this with you until Jesus comes or calls us home.
